| JURONG BIRD PARK, SINGAPORE | |
The Jurong Bird Park new entrance built in 2007 explores biomorphic forms. Originally intended to be of bent bundled pole structures it suffered the fate of innovation within the constraints of the industrial mechanical order embedded in the building code. It was rendered in steel instead but the ambition is still there. One day we will build the real biomorphic structures. This awaits the greening of the rules.

View of the main entrance, a gigantic soaring roof with echo effects that surprise the visitor. Pools of cascading water animate the space.
