| ECO-CITY EXHIBIT, SINGAPORE | |
We designed the Eco-City exhibit at the October 2006 Eco-Product Fair in Singapore. It showed a slice of what city life could be living, working, learning and playing close to nature and community. The dwelling towers are infrastructure to allow hundreds of architects to design many different dwellings to slot into the frame. Giant butterflies like wings atop the towers to collect energy and rain water.

Shopping and schools and retirement homes are in close proximity. They contribute to a sense of well-being in the community.
| |
Cows can come back to the city to provide milk and dung for bio-gas plants built into neighbourhoods.
| |
The entire exhibit occupied a space of 30m by 20 m with a sample house in the middle.

Green systems are integrated. Grey water is recycled, processed and recycled into the sewerage system and for greening the environment.
