Whilst this building is outside the main thrust of this book which is related to Akitek Tenggara's exploration of a design language of 'Line, Edge and Shade,' it is another commission which the practice believes is important in the development of a transformative approach.

The Peck San Theng Cantonese Associations Memorial Hall and Colombarium is a departure from traditional Chinese archi-tecture. It adopts a transformative approach with a subtle manipulation of cultural cues while using modern construction methods and materials.
